About Me....

I was born in the small East Texas town of Mt. Pleasant. I was involved in sports my whole life, mainly baseball, basketball and track. After high school, I attended the University of North Texas where I recieved my bachelors degree in business administration. During my first two years of college I let myself go somewhat and gained about 30lbs. My passion for sports and fitness was nothing but a memory as far as I was concerned and I spent my days playing video games and eating 2-3 junk meals a day. Then, I came to the realization that I hated who I had become and what I stood for. I was nothing more than a typical person who got up everyday and went through the motions of life. What I finally realized is that wasn't living life to the fullest. I wasn't living life at all. I decided it was time to get myself back on track and I began working out again and I lost the weight I had gained and some. I graduated and moved to Austin and began working as a personal trainer and haven't looked back since then. I was a fitness manager of one of the largest corporate gym chains in the industry and my life became all about the business of training and not the personal part. I loved working with people and seeing them do things they never could have imagined. After a brief time in South Beach, doing more corporate managing I decided that Austin was the place for me and one on one trianing was what I wanted to do. Now, I can truly say that I am actually living my life.

My credentials include 3 certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Performance Enhancement Specialist. Certified Personal Trainer from The Cooper Institute, and in March of 2010 I will be taking the Crossfit Level I certification.
