Off Track but On Point!

Going out of town can be stressful as most people tend to overload themselves in fear of coming back to an overload of work to do.....thankfully, I have a phenomenal team of coaches to ease my mind of the stress of work.

Last Sunday as I was looking into the 3 day work week, I decided not to go grocery shopping as I did not want to come home to wasted food that could possibly go bad. I figured I had enough food in the freezer to make it 3 days so I thought nothing of it.....except that I had consumed all the food by Monday evening.

Tuesday and Wednesday consisted of bowls from Chipotle, brisket from Smokey Mo's and pre-made meals from My Fit Foods. Certainly not my normal every week choices but still as "on-point" as I could expect to be.

How did I feel after consuming these "off-track" meals? Surprisingly, not that bad at all. My workouts this week have been awesome and my recovery has been great! So, by no means will I continue down this path, because I am still a firm believer in food prep and the security of knowing exactly what goes into my food, however it does tell me that I am probably not consuming enough calories.

So here's to more food, stronger and faster wods, and much better post workout recovery!!

The pic below is my breakfast at the airport. Eggs, chopped brisket, potatoes, and salsa. I love salsa. A lot of it. Don't judge me.
