Getting Stronger Means Everything

The CFRR coaches and myself have taken a bit of 180 degree turn with our training in hopes to increase our overall strength. This is a big step for us as we are used to going hard and heavy quite often.

Personally, I enjoy this type of training but I must say I am nervous about losing the endurance piece. Now having said that, there is definitely muscular and cardiovascular parts to our training as well as skill work. It's just a mental block I am battling, however I am very optimistic about the end result. We feel like meatheads again.

Another aspect we are zoning in on is mobility. When i say zoning in, I mean spending 30-45 minutes a day on this. This, if nothing else, will be extremely beneficial as we continue to compete and push the limits of what we are made of. The mobility piece is just as important as anything else.

- ACO December 10 in Dallas
- CFRR FFA wod and Christmas Party on Dec. 17
- NBA basketball is back!!! Mavs-Heat 12-25-2011 #Dirk
- Godzilla trucks annoy the hell out of me

Last thing, when going hard, don't be afraid to BOP!
