Fueling a Hard Gainer

Fueling a Hard Gainer

Let me rewind 12 years to my senior year in high school. CD's were ultra cool, everyone had discmans and everyone had a Zack Morris phone. My body weight was 145 lbs.

Fast Forward to the present time. iPods have revolutionized music and Zack Morris hopefully has an iPhone. I now weigh between 180-185lbs. Not bad weight. Solid, functional muscle.

How? Easy. Food.

I used to just eat. Now I eat for purpose. I eat for speed, power, agility, cardiovascular and muscular endurance, and to build muscle. Staples in my diet include:

Eggs
Bacon
Berries
Bananas
All nuts except peanuts
Potatoes
Sweet Potatoes
Beef
Venison
Lamb
Chicken
Avocado
Raw Milk

I also supplement with advocare products:

Arginine
Muscle Strength
Catalyst
Spark
Nighttime Recovery

It's hard for me to keep weight on let alone gain muscle so I need a super dense calorie diet. This is what works for me. It's a science experiment and there is always some tweaking that needs to be done.
